Is it normal to memorize your friends’ license plates?

I have a tendency to memorize license plates. Specifically certain friends’ plates or cars that I see more often. I don’t know why. It’s not intentional, it’s more like I see them and I simply don’t forget them. Someone told me that I might have photographic memory but I don’t really memorize anything else.

    I try to do the same, but I always fail at it. I don't think it's that weird?? 🤔🤔

    Maybe not absolutely normal, but, I think many people do it, even on a limited basis. I've done it with women I've dated or been involved with, and, a few people from the sports bar I go to that I'm not particularly fond of. As for friends, I'd say only if/when they're at my house or I see them often that the plate becomes ingrained in my head.
