Is it normal to manufacture your drawings or paintings?

When I say manufacture I mean "produce mechanically", so I manufactured a drawing, a remake of a terrier in the woods, it looked like a happy dog, worshipping nature, and it was strange I may call it, and beautiful, but I suspect I'm not the only one who manufactures art mechanically, it's mechanical, it looks like an industrial drawing, not residential or commercial, I think maybe I wanted to work, act like a robot (I was Aspergers at the time), I want even now a taste of the industrial life, I even constructed things precisely (making things) rather than create them imaginatively. I wasn't thinking of "art from the heart" but art for a living in a dull drab studio. I even drew some pictures of industrial-looking men supposedly working or smiling with pride which says "I'm industrial", I was proud of that, I took pride in being a robot, is that normal?
