Is it normal to make the noises of people's facial expressions?

Sometimes my wife and I play a game where we look at photos of people, make the same expression a person is making in a photo, then make the noise we think the person would be making if they were making a noise (based solely on their expression). We find it hilarious.

Is this normal?
