Is it normal to make my own...

PORN? I do NOT want to be a pornographer or anything, so plz don't get me wrong. Usually I just take pics/videos with my ipad and myself in a sexy position or masturbating. In the end, after I watch it all, I erase all of it...Does anyone else do this?!

  • Don't lie. You aren't going to erase it.

Well, from my point of view, it's normal, because I enjoy taking nudes of myself also. I've probably been doing this for around 10 years. It's almost like the more you do it, the more you will enjoy it. It's fun just doing it, but kind of a fantasy too...like you're a porn star or something...just me..

This isn't the first time I've heard of people being turned on by themselves. I suppose it's more or less a form of narcissism. While I don't think it's abnormal, I'm not sure on just how common this is.

Personally, I wouldn't find taking pictures or videos of myself in poses or masturbating a turn on, so - unless I was going to send them to someone - I wouldn't do it.

What do you actually get out of it?

Filming / photographing your lover is more common.

Why would someone be interested in seeing their 'lover' masturbating or in sexual poses? I think what you meant was 'sexual partner', which might happen to also fill the position of 'lover'.

        lov•er (ˈlʌv ər)
        n.
        1. a person who is in love with another.
        2. a person who has a sexual or romantic relationship with another.
        3. paramour (def. 1).
        4. a devotee of something: a lover of music.

Round where I'm from, 'lover' is frequently used as per the 2nd definition, and often specifically referring to a sexual relationship. Perhaps you haven't encountered this before, but I'd be careful to make sure when correcting people that you are right.

Meh, doesn't convince me. Words ending in 'er' like that should simply mean a person who does something, so 'lover' should be a person who loves. English language is all wrong.

Meh, language is rarely straightforward. You can redefine the rules for yourself but kindly refrain from imposing your unique take on English upon me :P

Not sure how normal it is, but I'm sure there are lots of people who do this.
