Is it normal to love your family but not see or talk to them often

Ive got a big family, i love them all and would die for ANY of the in a heart beat. But i live out of state and i don't really talk to them that much or go home for visits for more than 2-3 times a year.

im 23

Sometimes it's hard to see people if you live far away. Work commitments, time and money constraints, etc.

When I lived interstate, I'd see my family once a year at Christmas. If I was lucky, I could swing another time once in the year. Instead, I called my mother and my grandmother once a week. And I fucking hate talking on the phone.

Anyone who says you don't love your family because you rarely see them for the reasons you list is fucking retarded.

So you'd DIE for them, but a visit is asking too much 😂😆

Sounds like a normal family to me lol.

I remember growing up and I never felt close to my parents. When I got to Canada when I was a young child I adapted to the Canadian way of life quickly. My parents still had their head in "the old country." I was born in England and came to Canada when I was 5.

My dad and I were never close at all. Mom was okay but somewhat over protected.

I would never go to either parent with a problem I would go talk to friends parent rather tan my own.

You're a loner, you may regret ''wasting'' so much time by yourself but it's also normal to stay away from your family, even if you love them.
