OMG! I call mine zizzer and I’ve been doing it since before I could walk (I’m 46). I even took it with me to the hospital to have my babies. It’s such a fabulous stress reliever. I cut small sections from it to have in my pockets and purse. I have had a couple favorite blankets in my life, but my current one is really torn to tatters (it’s 31 years old!) I know it’s going to need to be replaced, and I’m stressing out about it. If I feel the urge to zizzer and don’t have access to a piece I often find myself grinding my teeth. I have jokingly told my husband that I want to be buried with my zizzer.
I have no memory of trauma or a bad childhood, so I have no idea how I became obsessed.
Does anyone know where I can find a replacement for my much loved zizzer blanket? They just don’t make them like they used to, and I’m not even sure of the type of fabric content I’m looking for, I just know it when I feel it.
IIN to love to rub fabrics between my fingers?
