This is so crazy. I don't even know what made me look it up, but I can't believe there are so many satin rubbers out there!
Mine started much like everyone else, with the satin edged baby blanket. Throughout the years I would rub tags or other clothing, but never anything in particular. Then one day I discovered prize ribbons. The "crunchy" feel is perfect. I used to be able to get them at dollar stores, but they're hard to find now. So now I buy them in packs of 10 at Hobby Lobby. I have them everywhere. In my purse, car, etc. My husband thinks its kind of silly, and the sound used to bother him, but not anymore. I do it a lot while we're driving. It's funny when he finds one of my ribbons that I've dropped in the truck or if he finds them in the dryer, he'll just hand it to me and say "here, I believe this is yours" with a smile. A few others besides my husband know about my little habit. They don't seem to think anything of it, although I try not to rub too loud in social situations, haha
IIN to love to rub fabrics between my fingers?
