Of course it's normal to like someone who is secure enough in herself to like and do the things she chooses without worrying about what others will think of it. Most of life is made up of "lame" things like watching TV with someone or cooking dinner together; someone who can't take pleasure in those simple things isn't going to have a very happy life, while someone who relishes them is probably going to die at age 96 with a smile on her face.
With that said, I don't see what not cursing and being Christian have to do with being a happy, caring person. I swear like a sailor, and I still do my part for charity.
