So many people I've known, my parents, my best friends - and even myself - after an intense romantic relationship and then after something traumatic coming between the two of you, it's so hard to balance that love/hate feeling. They induce such a drug-like charge in your brain that it's easy to switch your perception of this person quickly and without regard. You need to look at how you've been treated and balance that against just how much you love this person. I've seen so much unhappiness from this situation, please don't hurt yourself.
