Well if you are not of his sexual orientation (gay) then that is the deal breaker and matters a whole lot more than the age difference.
Let it go. See guys who are asking you out.
BTW - it is OK to have a crush on someone who is gay/lesbian. But unless you are too - it ain't going nowhere.
