  • If your feelings started after you had your break up please, don't listen to advice telling you you need hospital help or crap about "being depressed" or whatever. This is normal, and it is only a matter of time.

    This is your first break up, of course you're going to feel like this. And if you're young, it's going to feel a lot worse then it really is.

    Please trust me, just give it time, and if it was a long relationship, give it A LOT of time (when I say a long, I'm talking YEARS not months). When those thoughts come in get distracted, go out for a jog, play video games, homework, whatever. Just something you do to have fun.

    What you have is rare (loving family, friends, ect), and remind yourself that you can't throw everything you have right now away over one break up.
