If you have long hair, it could be that the bulb can't take the weight of the length of your hair. For example, if I grow my hair any longer than say, just below my collarbone, it starts falling out. If you have fine hair, it might not even reach that length. It is normal though, just differs with each individual. If you don't have long hair, I would be inclined to think it is either hereditary or medical. Basically, if many family members have the same hair loss, it's your genes. If not, you might want to visit your GP.

I have this problem too. It's a pain but yes it's genetic. I wouldn't worry though my hair has been "falling out" since I was 16. I'm 24 and nowheres near bald lol.

Yes, it is quite normal. Hair loss increases as you age. Stop using harsh shampoos and avoid rough combing. Drink plenty of water.

My cousin is 21 and he's almost completely bald on top, it's genetics. My other cousin's lucky, he has full hair, but it skips generations I suppose. No big deal though, don't let it bug you.

  • Are you sure your balding and you're not getting a mature hairline? Because around the ages of 17-21 men start to lose the juvanile hairline.

And unless you're pulling whole fist fulls of hair in the shower, it's completely normal. I do it, my father did it, my friends do it, my cousins do it and we all have gorgeous man forests up top.

Don`t give up yet..try eating foods high in zinc content, and use the right shampoo to wash your hair, if all these don`t work, go for a hair transplant, even being bald is kind of sexy too so no worry !

This could be a number if things really; stress, normal shedding, genetics, weight gain, weight loss, lack of proper protein/vitamins, or even a major medical problem. Thyroid disorders are well known for this symptom. If it appears concerning or becomes excessive, schedule an appt with your GP doctor. A simple blood test can be done in office and results within a couple of days.

Well, we naturally lose a lot of hair daily, but it could be genetic. Go see a doctor or specialist if you're concerned.

It is genetic. If you are a man it's normal.
If I'm well informed, it is irreversible.
