Is it normal to lose concentration?

is it normal to lose concentration? it's just not limited to reading , i can't even finish interesting movie at a time. there was a time when i used to watch 3,4 movies continuously , I used to finish most books in 2 days . but i just can't do it anymore. I start playing game and in 5 minutes , i turn it off and start doing something else, after sometime i stop doing that and start doing something else. I had lots of concentration until i was about 24, now i am 27. Please state your age in the answer. thanks.

I'm 21 and I've noticed this happening more and more lately. I almost feel like it has to do with depression. I know when you're depressed you don't feel like doing anything so when you actually go to do something you drop it soon after because you're just not interested.

It says you posted this response 6 days, 19 hours ago but I just got it now. I hope it's not just me that this is happening to.

Depression is not a fun thing to go through. I fall into it from time to time and it lasts only a week, if not less, before I get over it. It also may have to do with your energy level. I tend to not wanna do stuff when I lack the energy, but that could also be directly related to depression. Hope you get better soon! Maybe you should go out and try new things, meet new people, or even find friends you know and go out for a drink.

53 here. I do not believe that it is depression; actually it is not. Have you considered that your interests have changed? I used to be able to watch movies as well. Now, I can't sit through one. Look for different things to do.
