In general you're right, but porn isn't really the problem here. He thinks that staying turned on is how he is being judged by his partner. In reality, keeping his partner turned on by sensitive touch, and tactile responsiveness (which I am very good at) is much more important to her. Emotional sensitivity counts BIG TIME.
I always say a good fuck starts hours before the event. Thoughtfulness, courtesy, and attentiveness take time to generate the right mood. Unfortunately for me, attractiveness does as well.
