Its normal, and for sure does not mean your an idiot. When you are texting on your phone and then sudenly stop to look for your phone (though it may sound stupid) you are focusing on the text not what you are using to text. Because the only way you can text is to use your phone, your mind does not even need to prossess the fact that that is what you are using...in other words, your mind does not see a phone, only what i is being used for... Make sense? I could have worded that much better, but I am running on two hours of sleep... =)
