It is normal to look at people you find attractive, but of course it can be disrespectful to the one you're with. Have you tried appreciating other women WITH him? For example, asking him, "Which of those women do you think is the prettiest?" or "Wow- she's beautiful, don"t you think?" Women typically notice other women a lot more than men notice other men, so it should be pretty easy to have this sort of conversation. My girlfriend does this all the time, appreciating other women out loud (sure- she is critical too), and it is so refreshing- just one of the things that I love about her that shows me her self-confidence.
