It's normal. Music helps me through everything! When I'm sad, when I feel lonely, when I'm pissed off, when I'm happy, tired/sleepy, or stressed. I turn my music on. I listen, I relate, and I start to feel better.
Which reminds me, last night I was feeling down in the dumps. My friend was telling me about how great her boyfriend is, blah, blah, blah... I was happy for her, but felt kinda alone. I turned on cary brothers: Lonliest girl in the world.
Point is, that there is a song out there, for EVERY situation imaginable. Anything you feel. I bet there are lyrics to those feelings. And you'll find a way to relate. You might not recover completely, but you'll feel somewhat better.
Today I left for work this morning feeling tired and kinda sick, I played a more upbeat song to help take my mind off of it. It worked. Maybe not a lot. I mean, I still felt sick, but it took my mind away from it a little bit. By the end of the day, I was feeling much better. I turned on Mike Posner: Bow chicka wow wow! Yeah, I can be a little bipolar with the tunes, but I don't care. I'm sensitive to music. I feel music.
