He is super protective with her? Do you have a history of using women or being nice to them? Does he know the kind of guy you are?
I'd say you're all set. Go for it. That is if she agrees to go out with you. Would kind of suck if you talked to him and then asked her and she said no. Might be weird all around, but you'll never know if you don't try.
I have no history with women basically. I've never even been on a date, but he definitely knows I'm not the type of guy to use anyone, let alone his sister. He's protective, but I think he'd probably be more uncomfortable with it than angry. The thing is I'm pretty sure she doesn't like me anyway, and then everything would become needlessly weird for no benefit.
Is it normal to like your best friend's sister?
