I think you should honest! There's nothing wrong with expressing your feelings but I can dedinitely see him getting shitty if you keep it from him and start sneaking around. He's going to care that you don't hurt her, and you don't get hurt. If you two are true friends he should understand. Not saying he will be jumping for joy but it's always better to tell the truth especially with your good friends. Does she know? Btw you're far from a screwed up person, you seam to be very genuine and loyal...thats hard to come by these days so don't ever lose That!
She definitely doesn't know, unless she picked up on it somehow, but I've definitely never flirted with her, or at least consciously did. I mean, she's friendly to me, but I highly doubt she likes me anyway. I'm not sure if I'd even ask her out if he gave his blessing, but thanks for the reassurance that I'm at least not screwed up for feeling this way. I definitely wouldn't go sneaking around in any case.
