Is it normal to like your best friend(Who is a guy and i'm a girl.). He has a girl friend and i had a crush on him last year and i told him. You may think big mistake...not really. Any way, I like him as a friend, but i still kinda like him. It's all very confusing to my poor 18 year old mind. Is it just my depression of never having dated a guy in my life or dare i say it..hormones?

    Well, he's ur friend caz u like him in the first place, if u go deeper, well, that's a different story.

    well i had a best friend who i fell for and he didn't like me :( i can tell by the way he talked to me i always tried to show him i liked him i even told him but he liked my sister. :\ and he dated my sister too.. but i knew him before they even dated too. it made me sad and mad at the same time. so after a few months of trying i gave up and stopped talking to him he acts like he don't care about that too so i just was like whatever and i gave up on him and no i don't even have feelings for him

    If someday he discovers that he sees you the same way you see him, you can have a truly wonderful relationship: friends that love each other in a love that has grown together can be an amazing thing.

    It may not happen, though. At least not until you find someone else and he realizes that he may lose what he has. And if it doesn't happen, that's ok, too.

    But, yeah, normal.

    Just don't be creepy about it. Be there for him as a good friend, but don't wait for him. There are more fish in the sea!

    A close relationship with a friend can mke you grow strong bonds of fondness for them.
    It happens alot.
    If you truely love/loved him, you should know.
