Alright I just wanna say some things. I just feel that being attracted to younger girls is a lot more common than many people in society know or believe. There are a lot of sites/posts that get over 10,000 hits that are focused on younger girls. The fact that the poll on this question itself has wavered around 50% kinda suggests to me that while not many people would condone the attraction in public some people do see it as not as rare. My question is this- why is being gay considered okay, but being attracted to younger girls not? Most religions are not okay with people being gay, but if we put religion aside and go with nature then theoretically a guy and a younger girl or vice versa can reproduce while a guy/guy or girl/girl cannot.
I know many in society think this is wrong what I am feeling, but I never asked to feel this way or anything, its something that is out of my control. Let me just follow up by saying this: I definitely think there's a line, consent should always be given no matter age,gender, etc... what certain doctors, priests, predators, etc.. do is disgusting and wrong. (I personally feel that yes if a 40+ year old person is attracted to say like 9 or younger then that is creepy)
But with my case I just think its a different situation, we have known each other for years and have developed a friendship. Why then would it be wrong if we developed feelings for one another and then acted on those feelings? Because the 8 year gap is too large? Why is a 50 yr old and a 18 yr old being in a relationship okay in the eyes of the law (I have seen articles where relationships like this are shown) , but a 15 yr old and 18 yr old in a relationship not okay? I am attracted to girls my own age and older, but I'm also sometimes attracted to younger girls starting or going through puberty. Can a 12/13 yr old really not consent? They are learning advanced subjects in school already including sex ed stuff, and if not in school then definitely in media,etc...
A 13/12 year old cannot consent.
At that age, all of us are stupid.
But in all seriousness, get help. You're going down a wrong path if you truly believe that there's nothing wrong and in envisioning her resturning your feelings.
