Is it normal to like wide vagina?

When myself and my girlfriend have sex, I like to do it doggy style because when she bends over, he vagina becomes VERY wide, it feels like a cave, I can feel the entrance but NOTHING inside, and to me that feels better than tight. Anyone else had this? Male or female of course, my girlfriend says it feels fine to her so we do it like that a lot.
