I hate to break it to you but, it doesn't look badass. It looks pretty fucking stupid and impractical. There's probably only a small portion of the population that still thinks that it looks cool. Allot of people associate it with laziness and prison attire. Prisoners aren't allowed to have belts for fear that they will commit suicide or use it as a form of violence towards others. This went into popular culture when rappers who got out of prison maintained the baggy look. Some view it as being vulgar and disrespectful. There are some some places that are even putting a ban on baggy pants. It is only understandable if you were: poor and couldn't afford proper clothing, being neglected, and had a weight loss issue and no proper fitting clothing to wear. I assume that it's impracticality would also make it pretty damn easily for a rapist to anally rape you.
