Im kinda the oposite with the last part of what you said. Anything that someone used thats now dead i wouldnt touch. I kinda have this fear of urns and coffins. Not much the body or the bones of the diceast (sorry i forgot how to spell that lol). Other then the WWII trunk i bought at a garage sale for $20 bucks. I love that old stuff. I accidentally bought an urn and i didnt know it until i looked up the definition if an urn. I found the definition of it while i was holding it and i almost pissed myself XD
Is it normal to like to buy used kitchenware for this reason?
