Is it normal to like the taste of mushrooms more than meat?

I've been crazy about those brown, button mushrooms lately. They have a savory flavor that I'm starting to like much more than meat. I'm not going vegetarian anytime soon, but I can see how they can enjoy their portabella burgers just as much as normal ones now. Anyone else find that they like mushrooms this much?

    Ugh. Mushrooms make me gag.....which is weird because people tell me i'm a funguy. :/

    Funguy omg, that made me chuckle. My phone won't let me thumbs up it or reply though.
    I used to hate them, now I love them. I can't really compare them to meat, I just find them tasty :}.

    For many years, I scared to eat them. I few months ago, I decided to give them a try for the health benefits. All that is down the drain now because I'm allergic to them! It means that I can't even eat most vegetarian dishes!!!! I must admit, they're rather good with chinese food.
