Totally normal! I love the smell from my straight piped diesel and I love to leave it running when I go into a store then the parking lot smells so good. I've seen some people take big breaths when its just sitting there running but I also love it when kids n moms hold their nose.

you should sniff lysol instead,many low income ethnic groups do this.

Just be careful to not inhale it too much. You could die of poisoning.
