Normal if that's what turns you on, if not, not normal. BE CAREFUL! I spent some time in the BDSM community years back and unless it's changed there are lot of people who want to be masters or mistresses who don't observe boundaries, play sexually when they're drunk and/or on drugs, ignore safe words and most commonly, the power involved in the sex play goes to their heads and they turn into bullies outside the bedroom or wherever you're playing.
In my opinion, involvement in this sort of behavior just for the thrill leads nowhere except to boredom and sometimes worse: if you're in a trustworthy relationship broach the subject and see what happens, but still BE CAREFUL!
PS: Also, be aware that what turns you on in fantasy may not do so in reality: one saying I heard years ago is "Fantasies are hungrier than bodies" and I would add, a LOT hungrier!

Yeah, even tho I want to be a slave, I want a partner who is also loving and kind out of bed, which is more important than any kink imo
