Historically slaves were needed for a society of any large size before industrialization. Slavery is terrible for anyone involved especially the slaves.
That's why I truely hate slavery. You can hate the practice but respect the need for it when applicable. Slavery now is 100% logically wrong and inefficient to be practiced by anyone. Any nation that has slaves operating inside *cough russia, china, most of africa and the middle east and not to forget North Korea may its leader burn in hell. Cough* (wow that was a bad cough) are barbaric and are not worthy of being called civilized.
We cant look at the past with the eyes of today, if you lack the perspective you wont learn anything from history.
US Constitution, Thirteenth Amendment: “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”
I'm an advocate for paying more money to prisoners doing jobs. Prisoners do lose some rights while they are incarcerated but most often the job they are assigned are basic household duties to bring costs down for holding said prisoners. It costs around 30,000$ to keep prisoners alive and well. They are prisoners serving their time to the state. Everyone needs to work in a fuctioning society even prisoners. Only 6% do actual manufacturing and agricultural work. During said time are paid wages and achieve credit to help them when they get out of prison. Now if you have a problem with the wages and credit afterwards I understand, but the work itself is a massive upgrade to how the older prison systems work.
Yeah but the way I want to be a slave is different from historical slavery, it’s a sexual thing and unlike actual slaves from that time I want to be one
Is it normal to like the idea of being a slave?

You forgot to mention American prisons.
