I met a girl and she was in a relationship, although I became well-acquainted with her during the course of a few months. Despite her serious mood and inability to humor me, she was a great listener and cared so much about me. I texted her to find out if she felt anything for me; she admitted that she was falling for me. As a matter of fact, she was willing to leave her current boyfriend for me. What I did next was stupid: I friend-zoned her and ceased communications for an entire year. After that time-span, I analyzed my thoughts and realized that I developed feelings for her. Ironically, I still have yet to speak with her.

Don't underestimate those who show you attention.
