Im a girl who loves this lad and i have liked him for quite a long time now (3 years).
He knows how i feel but we have agreed to stay friends.
Is it normal to want to do anything for him to change his mind?
yes its normal..but you dont want to waste your time...move on someone will want to pursue you romanticly

It's called obsession.. even if you truly love the person, if they don't love you back but you keep hoping for it then you will be very disappointed one day after finally realizing you've been fighting for someone who doesn't want to be with you (or maybe even care!). He might care as a friend, but passion is what is supposed to be there for a couple or a marriage to last after years of commitment and passing that "newly-wed" faze of happiness. You're lover should also be your best friend, just not as only a friend that convinces himself to be with you 'cause "it's right" or because you'll be good to him. He has to want you too- and dammit- you deserve to be with someone who gets the same butterflies around you as you get from them!
