well if he was such a close friend of course it would be hard to move on, but i'm a guy and with guys moving on isnt as hard as you might think. He might still be in love with you and maybe is just doing this to make you jealous hoping you would step in and tell him you love him.
OR he really is over you and just considers you a friend if even that, an old flame so to speak.
