Is it normal to like sex all the time?

  • Life itself is pointless so one might as well try to maximise pleasure and minimise pain. It's also a value judgement to say it's shallow.

    • That's what you think, because you think pain is bad and pleasure is good. Okay.
Yes, it is a value judgement.

      • Animals avoid pain too. Helps surviving.

        • Yes, and you're assuming surviving is good. So you avoid pain to survive, because you want to survive, because you think surviving is good. See how it's endless and leads to nothing except proof that right and wrong and good and bad are entirely subjective?

          • Actually I'm suicidal but there's something like the survival instinct. And I'm suicidal because of a lack of pleasure in life, mostly because I'm lonely so no sex.

            • Dude, what?! Did you really just say that you're suicidal because you don't get enough sex? And indeed, survival instinct tells us to avoid pain, but we are capable of ignoring it, as there are many self-harmers out there, myself included, even. And you won't DIE if you don't have sex.

              • Yes if it goes on I will die from lack of sex. Life without pleasure = suicide. Nobody has the right to tell me it's not a good reason. Why should I keep suffering because some anonymous person online thinks it's an invalid reason? I don't give a rat's arse.
