Dude, what?! Did you really just say that you're suicidal because you don't get enough sex? And indeed, survival instinct tells us to avoid pain, but we are capable of ignoring it, as there are many self-harmers out there, myself included, even. And you won't DIE if you don't have sex.

Life itself is pointless so one might as well try to maximise pleasure and minimise pain. It's also a value judgement to say it's shallow.
