Is it normal to like pooping next to someone else in a public bathroom

For some reason I get nervous pooping in a public bathroom. BUT, if someone is already going in a nearby stall or going next to me i get confident! like I can officially go now since we're both pooping and there's no shame in hearing the other person go! Is this normal?

    It makes sense to me. What didn't make sense was when the man in the next cubicle to me moaned out loud and then screamed, "Please make it end".

    I'm the opposite. If I'm pooping and anyone else walks in I freeze until the leave.

    It's fun when you and your "poop buddy" are doing your thing, and then the bathroom door opens, your hear someone rip a loud one, and then you hear thd door close behind them... you realize someone had just finished a fartwalk!

    Yeah I mean the only stories I heard were I'm scared to go if someone is in the next stall with me. I actually get bolder... like having a poop conversation silently lol
