I'm currently in the US, and I am a Virgin Mobile Customer, I am really jelaous of the canadians choice in phone selection, I can barley find a qwerty phone there. except for the LG Rumor 2, which is sucky. I really like the Samsung VICE! Now I really want to go to Canada to get my phone! Is this normal

Maybe it's not a country thing - maybe your local town/area doesn't have a sufficient range of stores to shop around?

Pfft I live in New Zealand - I can't just drive the border like you peeps, I'll have to endure a damn 28 hour swim to the coast of Australia if I was in your position :( and cellphones aren't usually water proof either!
