"Despite the target demographic of young girls and their mothers, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic has become an Internet phenomenon, with many male fans between 13 and 35." Here in Brazil something like that happened: the producer of a tv show which most people with some wits despise (hosted by a woman who on old days was a successful kid's show's presenter and now is just an old rich bitch), said on Twitter that those who watch the Woody Woodpecker classical cartoon on the rival channel are "retards". The audience numbers are always favouring Woody Woodpecker over the other show, and as result of the insult on Twitter Woody's audience has triplicated since then.

That pony had a scratchy voice. Know why? Cus its a little horse.

i used to think bronies were the most hideous, gayest people in the world. i would go online to make fun of them and call them names cuz they creeped me out.

and who could blame me? grown men watching little girls' show about a bunch of talking ponies - i get it, it doesn't exactly fit the word "normal".

until one day, i decided to watch it for myself (to see how gay the show actually was).

after watching ep. 1 i watched ep. 2.
then it was all over. i was blown away with the great characters, fantastic plot lines and very funny comedy. when something is good, there's no getting around it or denying it. it simply is - good.

if being a brony is wrong, i'll be wrong any day.
