    I think its normal. Having a girlfriend probably makes him confident, same it would make you confident if you had a boyfriend. So long as you dont take it too far, because he does have a girlfriend, you could just be really good friends. Meet his girlfriend, so she dosen't think your trying to steal him away or anything
