What? I thought "cheesy" was stuff like Celine Dion, Savage Garden, Daniel Bedingfield, etc.
In my opinion, Owl City's songs are pure poetry, both lyrically and melodically. They inspire me. "To The Sky" and "Fireflies" remind me of having adventures in my imaginary world. "Vanilla Twilight" makes me want to draw art of my favorite ships/pairings.
Then again, I have what most people would consider "bad taste" in music, and on top of that I'm pretty childlike and hopelessly romantic/mushy, so feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt.
