I think she probably knew what was happening. My wife and I was watching an outdoor wet t-shirt contest a few years ago and a guy in the crowd was fingering my wife. It went on for a couple minutes until she just happened to see both of my hands. She quickly moved his hand, but didn't say anything then, for fear of starting trouble. She told me later that day after we got back home, so things like that do happen.
