Is it normal to let my dog lick my legs and feet?

  • Like IceRed said, licking dries your skin out more. The tongue drags away the oil on your skin, then the saliva dries too fast. So it feels moistened for a few minutes, then gets dryer than a desert. You should use lotion and/or drink more water.

That said, I have no idea whether purposely letting your dog lick you is normal. It sounds creepy, especially when I word it like that, but I don't own a dog. Maybe it is?
