Is it normal to let my boyfriend know how much i enjoy sex?

To be put simple, I love sex. I have the sex mentality of, well, a man. I told my boyfriend that I'm honestly in the mood more then half the time, and of course this seemed perfectly okay to him.
What I am asking is, is it normal for a female to enjoy sex this much? And also, should the level of enjoyment be something secretive, or is it better to just be straight-forward about it?

    Normal my ex gf was the same way she loved sex and almost every time we were alone it consisted of sexual activity. At least 2 times a day
