So if you passed out in the street and you were hauled off to hospital, would you not tell the doctor who examined you where you were hurting and keep secret from him any other weirdness you'd experienced before collapsing?
Whatever the reasons for you having a weekly session with the therapist, there's no point in going if you conceal your thoughts and feelings from her. She doesn't have the magical power to sort out your problems just by being in close proximity to you, and it's also certain that she can't read your mind.
Maybe you'll find that this particular therapist won't be able to help you sort out your problem(s). But by not being honest and open with her, you're not even giving her a chance to help. That suggests to me that you're not ready to change, possibly because you haven't yet truly accepted that you need to change.

I guess I should be honest with her, I have been doing this for too long.
