Is it normal to keep having feelings of dread?

Lately I've been feeling really strange in the evenings, (I'm usally okay during the day) I've been starting to feel like I've forgotten to do something, which is followed by the feeling of butterflies and dread, and then i get really depressed. I don't understand why i feel like this and its really putting a downer on life. I've started to feel like my life is pointless and i want to understand why. Can anyone help me please?

    It sounds like you're stressed out. I used to get really anxious like that a lot, and for me it sort of just calmed down when my life stopped being so complicated. But if you don't have anything that comes to mind stressing you out, then maybe you should see a doctor about it. If you're against that, i highly suggest finding some sort of hobby or interest you can put time into that calms you down. Mine is playing guitar and, a lot of the time, just listening to music. Stuff like that is commonly known to be a big help.
