Is it normal to keep get skids as an adult

Is it normal to still be getting big skid marks in your underpants as an adult, even though I wipe with a lot of toilet paper (in big clumps) and sometimes until I have had a very very tiny amount of red on the tissue paper, yet still get skids 9/10 times. I ask because it can be embarrassing as I have to leave for work very early and I'm sure the others have seen them in my washing pile or have been in my room (I house share) and have talked about it or am I being paranoid. I do wash my ass but can't do it all the time @work and on time limits. It's doing my head in and I don't want it to spoil any relationship I already have to take them off quick or try to screw them up in a ball before she can set her eyes on them in case any dirty brown marks are looking back! Small problem to most and maybe even funny but this is a problem I have had since being a teen and its getting me down.

Is It Normal?

  • Maybe everything doesn't come out when you poop? And a little works it's way out?

  • This isn't normal and rather worrying. The blood means you probably have hemorrhoids. Having skid marks means your stools are soft/sticky and that your diet probably has way too much fat or that you might have pancreatic issues.

  • Age has nothing to do with this, this sounds like it could be diet related. What are you eating?

  • Keep a pack of baby wipes handy, that way u'll feel a lot cleaner than using bog roll.

  • Are your hemorrhoids inflamed? If you're constipated and it causes your hemorrhoids to become swollen then later on when the the swelling goes down it will expose spots on your anus that you weren't able to wipe probably because of the swelling. As your day goes on those spots will get itchy from sweat and fecal residue. You scratch yourself without realizing it and make skid marks while spreading fecal particles to your clothes and fingers. You'll be spreading microscopic fecal particles and contaminating everything you touch.

Fiber is the answer! By changing your diet you will stop the constipation that causes the swelling of your hemorrhoidal tissue.

  • Try a fiber supplement.
