While eating pasta or something, I tend to just swallow the noodles instead of actually chewing them. It seems easier because to me, chewing them up is like chewing up worms. Noodles also just slide down your throat without you choking.
I doubt if it's likely that you'll choke to death on ramen or tagliatelle, but it's not the best way to eat pasta and noodles.
As Moe says, you're making things more difficult for your stomach. Chewing not only mechanically breaks down the structure of food, it mixes it with the enzymes in your saliva, which is the first stage of digestion.
I used to when I was a kid but I don't think it's a good idea to do that though because it will probably lead to some kind of stomach issues :/(if not now than in the future)
I think you probably giving your stomach a harder time by not chewing your noodles because it has to work harder to break up a bunch of noodles that are still whole.
It just seems like a bad idea :/
