Is it normal to just say fuck it?

I'm tired. 18 in a couple of weeks - the pinnacle of youth. Yet I'm exhausted of being treated like I child - I shoulder these results due to my preservation for 'peace'-like nature. I'm tired of the lies. I'm tired of the pretentious behaviour. I'm done.

I understand that I am to blame, but if I am to change, I do not want to gradually change.
I want it now.

    Who is the perpetrator treating you like a child? Are you fully independent yet? Do you support yourself, live not under family roof, and earn your own Money? You'll still be treated like a child until that point probably sorry to say. You'll be out on your own soon though right? Are you going to go to college? What's your plan at 18?

      I'm planning on moving away to uni in another city. I'll be 18 in 2 days. I guess you are right I still won't have any privallages until I gain more responsibility which is quite saddening.

        Nah enjoy it while you can!! Life gets hard once you're totally independent but you adjust to cope with it. Enjoy your time at Uni and do whatever opportunities you can like travel and party because you may not get to for a long time after that

    I left home when I was 17. Said fuck it and joined the Navy. At your age a good "fuck it" attitude will see you through. Good luck and hang in there.
