Is it normal to just flat out hate yourself?

For some reason that's beyond me, I really can't shake this feeling of self hatred. Just complete and total loathing. I don't understand why, I just do. My psychiatrist gave me mood stabilizers and I've officially chucked those out the window because they only made me feel even worse. Anybody else ever had these kinds of feelings, or am I alone once again?

Yeahh, I hate myself too sometimes. I have a rollercoaster realationship with myself, sometimes I hate me sometimes I find me OK. But it is depressing to fell that way, maybe it is about still trying to find yourself.

Based on your communication style, clear and unique, you're not someone anyone else would hate, so you definitely should just try to dismiss that thought of hating yourself. :)

can you define "Hate" in the context of how you feel about "yourself". Can you provide an example?
