I understand you in the way that practically everyone seems like a complete asshole. Some of my friends have done so many things behind my back, it's just ridiculous. I was more mature than him when I was elementary compared to him now and he's in highschool. I've always been nice to people and I've been taken advantage of by some people to buy them stuff..
As someone here said, try to focus on the positives in people.
