Is it normal to imagine suicide after seeing it on tv?

Ok, so i noticed that when me and my brother are watching television, if somebody on the show or movie commits suicide, i typically will have it run threw my head of myself doing that, and how it would play out. I do not feel as if I am suicidal or depressed, but I have no idea if these thoughts are normal. An example would be like when i watched "the happening", throughout much of the movie I had thoughts about what it would be like to carry out many of the things displayed. I'm just wondering if this ever happens to other people or if its just me?

Sure. I've always imagined how nervous I would be, and how quick or lingering the pain would be if I took a self-inflicted bullet. I can't see myself EVER doing such a thing....I think that's why I wonder...another of life's ( or death's) mysteries

it's normal to wonder that i guess..just don't actually kill yourself. that's not a good choice at all.
