Okay when I'm bored in class or at home, i think about someone i like alot and try to imagine i got stabbed/shot/hit by another guy/ect. and he happened to be near by to help me and i would end up in his arms. IIN?

  • well, when you think about it, as little girls we were fed the fairytale ideal of a 'knight in shunning armor '-- someone to save us from our mundane existance, protect us from harm, and treat us like the fairytale princesses we were conditioned to wish we were. n

  • Haha I do it too. Jdoe has a point. Very true, you just like thinking of being cared about enuff for someone to risk something important to them. (like their lives)

  • I thought about stories like this in high school but I was always the one saving the one I liked. It was so detailed I even made a graphic short story out of my little fantasy.

  • It's normal. What I usually do is picture myself saving the person I like.
