Is it normal to imagine colors i've never seen before?

Sometimes when I listen to music, I'll hear a song that makes me think of a color that I've never seen before. I can't make the color and I can't describe it either. Is this normal?

    OH MY GOSH. I have been thinking about this exact thing. I cannot make a new color. It's impossible. I think I love you.

    You could have Synesthesia :) i think it sounds cool. I would probably go to a doctor just to check though.
